This cowl is double knit in the round to create an extra thick and squishy texture. The pattern was inspired by a trip to Peru that I made in 2019 where I got to experience how wonderful Peru is. The name of the cowl is a native tree to Peru that grows at high elevation and uses very little water compared to the imported eucalyptus tree.
Needles: US 8 (5 mm)
Yarn: Any worsted weight will work! I used 100% wool that is 219 yards / 100 g
Amount of yarn: 130 -180 yards of each color
Gauge: 15 sts by 24 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)
The gauge is measured on one side of the double sided fabric.
